The new CAT® S60 is a unique smartphone, the first smartphone worldwide with an integrated thermal camera as well as being the world’s most waterproof smartphone, waterproof to depths of 5m. The FLIR thermal imaging camera with MSX technology specially developed by the world leader at designing, manufacturing and supplying thermal imaging cameras can be used to take still pictures, panorama pictures and videos, as well as providing various thermal images which show the temperature of the object as well as the minimum, maximum and average temperatures. The thermal imaging camera measures temperatures of between -25 and 55 degrees celcius. The founder of the manufacturer Bullitt, Colin Batt himself, presented and explained the new CAT® S60 smartphone to our retailers at our Local Hero Convention in March. We are the first to distribute the CAT® S60 in Germany.

CAT® S60 – one of a kind
It offers users a variety of possible uses which were until now completely unthinkable for smartphones. It can be used, for example, to detect warmth escaping through poorly insulated windows and doors, as well as spotting damp patches occurring due to poor insulation or detecting a risk of electrical appliances or circuits overheating. The new CAT® S60 is therefore ideal for builders, electricians, emergency services, utility workers and many more. The wide range of possible uses makes the CAT® S60 a valuable asset for specialist retailers as well, letting them target new distribution channels.

Extremely robust, extremely waterproof
Like all CAT® smartphone products, the CAT® S60 is an extremely robust, rugged smartphone. It can easily withstand drops onto concrete from heights of up to 1.8m. Featuring a Corning® Gorilla®Glass 4 touchscreen, it is perfectly protected against scratches and breakage. The rugged qualities of the S60 also ensure that it is the most waterproof smartphoneavailable on the market at present. It is able to handle depths of up to five metres for one hour, turning it into a reliable underwater camera
The smartphone is expected to be launched onto the German market in July 2016. Retailers who believe their customers may be potential buyers and are interested in exclusively marketing the CAT® S60 are welcome to apply within the context of the Top 100 Cat Phone Dealer project.
