With my-store.TV we have been proving for some years now that digital signage does not need to be complicated, complex or expensive. Originally planned as a solution for our own franchise retailers, since its launch my-store.TV has already been used by more than 350 independent specialist retailers in the mobile communications sector throughout Germany and is growing continually.


We are now going one step further with my-store.TV and thanks to the new my-store.TV outdoor advertising we can offer our specialist retailers the possibility of drawing attention to themselves by advertising their offers already outside their front door. The outdoor advertising was introduced for the first time during Dominik Brokelmann’s keynote speech at the Local Hero Convention in March. The monitors (up to 4 of which can be used), which are protected from the weather with a special casing, can be mounted outside on the shop facade, and act as a real eye-catcher for passers-by and potential customers. In the future, this is set to be the perfect solution for retailers to draw attention to themselves even before potential customers enter the shop.

The new outdoor advertising sparked considerable interest even at our Convention, and we have already received the first enquiries. Some objections have of course been raised by retailers anticipating that they might be faced with difficulties from the town council or municipal authorities and suspecting legal hurdles which will have to be coped with. That may well be the case, but we are still going to give it a go, as attractive outdoor advertising is the perfect way to wrap up the concept of the connection store in addition to the Kiosk in store, online shop and Kiosk2Go app.

The contents are arranged into channels, exactly the same as with television. Retailers have the choice of a variety of channels which differ in the various weighting of contents they offer. Exactly as with television, they can choose which channel should run on the selected monitor. Further channels can be added at any time or contents changed by changing channel – as simple as watching television!

Everything the retailer needs is the my-store.TV HDMI stick and a monitor. my-Store.TV is not only easy to use, it can also easily be integrated into exising store concepts without any great effort or expense. Retailers even have the option of designing their own channels. The advertising contents in the channels are permanently refreshed, ensuring that offers are always up to date. my-store.TV is also kept simple when it comes to pricing. A one-off payment of 69.95 euros is charged for the my-store.TV HDMI stick, no further costs are charged for using existing channels.

Digital Signage as Ideal Advertising Platform

Advertising customers have also recognized the advantages of my-store.TV for placing their advertising contents. It is the only digital signage solution on the mobile communications market to offer the possibility of advertising directly at the point of sale in the competitive environment.
